Goodness Is Still Here!

No matter how much evil is in the world, God's goodness still dwells in the Earth.

There's a lot going on in this world. When we turn on the news we see a lot happening that is disturbing and chaotic. The amount of unloving and inconsiderate actions being displayed by humans towards other humans can be disheartening and can leave questions that seem to go unanswered. But, I want to share something with you that the Lord spoke to my heart in prayer one day recently:

“No matter how much evil is in the world, My goodness still dwells in the Earth.”

I encourage you to let those words resonate in your heart. Always remember that His goodness dwells in you! Meditate on the following scriptures and go forth boldly declaring the goodness of God.

Rise up, people of God, and declare the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! (Psalm 27:13)

The Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell in it. (Psalm 24:1-2)

Let your light shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven (Matthew 5:14-16).

One of the fruits of God’s Spirit is goodness. (Galatians 5:22)

As Christ followers, we carry goodness on the inside of us. Goodness and mercy even follows us. (Psalm 23:6)

Pray, Saints, and do good by showing forth the goodness of God on the inside of you. Spread His goodness in the Earth.

Prayer for Today:

Lord, thank you for your goodness! You have given us your goodness as a fruit of your Spirit and we are to display it in the Earth. We will encourage our hearts in your Word and boldly declare the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Thank you for the strength that we find in being with you. You don't ask us to walk this journey alone. You are forever by our side. We hold on to you as you help us to show forth goodness in our everyday lives to others. Amen.
